ABOUT US

Our commitment to you.

Our Story

We help organizations keep their people functioning at their best.

Employees who are healthy, happy, and engaged make for better business.  For your organization, this means a more productive, loyal and resilient workforce, even during challenging times.

As a stand-alone Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider, we are focused on one thing, helping your people to be their best at work and home. For over 40 years, we've been designing and delivering Employee and Family Assistance Programs (EFAP), workplace support services, wellness programs, and leadership support services, to some of Canada's most discerning and progressive organizations. Our customers chose us because we respond to the complex needs of organizations, small or large, and deliver a hands-on, boutique-style service that is focused, flexible, accessible, and easy.

We are national and local. We have offices nation-wide with a real passion for their local communities, and a proven track record for innovating to respond to emerging community needs. We apply that same passion and expertise to our EFAP services and the workforces we support. With a strong network of clinical providers and expert consultants, we support employees and their families wherever they may live or work.

We are more than an EAP provider, more than counsellors, more than account managers. We are a different kind of EAP provider. FSEAP is a national program of Family Service Canada delivered by a nationwide network of licensed family service agencies. As the only national, not-for-profit, community-based EAP provider in Canada, we are unique. Our mission is to promote resilient workplaces, inspire healthy families, and build strong, thriving communities. We are the only national EAP provider structured as a social enterprise, meaning 100% of profits generated go toward supporting mental health and community-based programming for children, youth, adults, families, and seniors in communities across Canada.

Our Approach

Graphic of Green and Red Speech Bubbles

As an EAP provider, our approach is simple. We believe the best service is providing the right help, at the right time.

Personal and Responsive Care -

We work hard to ensure every interaction with the EFAP provides a personal and responsive experience in which employers or their employees get the care and assistance they need, when they need it. Dedicated, responsive account management and caring, confidential clinical support are just a phone call or click away.

Customized Solutions -

We know that to be most effective, an EFAP can't be an “off-the-shelf,” “one-size-fits-all” program. We customize our EFAP programs to fit the unique needs and culture of an organization and respond to immerging workplace needs.

Putting People Before Profits -

We put people first to ensure the care they receive is the highest quality and results in the best outcomes. That's why we are uniquely committed to delivering our clinical services in the medium desired by the client, utilizing experienced and credentialed clinical providers and consultants, and ensuring every customer has a dedicated account manager.

Transparency and Integrity -

We are transparent with our customers about how we design, deliver, and price our services, so they know exactly what they are purchasing. We invite questions and feedback because we are always looking for ways to improve. When we give you our word, we do everything possible to keep it.

Service Excellence -

We deliver services that meet EAP industry best practice standards. Our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) services, clinical practices, and quality assurance standards are independently reviewed and endorsed by a full accreditation by the Council on Accreditation and the Canadian Centre for Accreditation.

Our Approach
